The development of self esteem as a critical tool in helping victims to better understand bullies, and bullies to better understand victims, led Mark to focus his workshop on victim empowerment and resilience. For years, the modern world has been trying to reduce bullying through a legal/law enforcement approach. This requires society to protect us from, apprehend, and punish those who bully us. Unfortunately, as research and plain experience show, this approach hasn’t worked and even leads to an intensification of the bullying problem.

As a certified Bullies2Buddies Practitioner, Mark explores real-life incidents and gives children easy and practical tips to reduce the aggression forced upon them.
